The New York City chapter are dedicated trout anglers in one of the world's largest cities. Just a few hours drive from the city are the Catskills and their famous trout streams. In the 1800's, city-folk would take the train to the Catskills for vacationing and fly fishing. Saltwater opportunities also exist for the NYC fly fisherman, as well as some freshwater fly fishing as close as Long Island. Founded in 1968, the NYC Chapter has over 900 members.
