Help protect
New York's trout streams and rivers...

For now, and for generations to follow.

Message from the Chairman...

"Thank you for visiting the New York State Council of Trout Unlimited.  New York members of Trout Unlimited have a long, proud tradition of protecting and restoring our important rivers and streams. Wild trout are a reward for a clean river and a healthy environment, and it's our responsibility to help achieve that goal. Our Council supports our 8,000 members from 30 chapters in New York, providing resources and coordination for projects and initiatives that coincide with our "OneTU" approach. Please consider supporting our efforts."

Removal of the Pike Dam on Wiscoy Creek

The Western New York chapter along with the NYS DEC are preparing to remove the Pike Dam on Wiscoy Creek and replace it with a rock-riffle structure to help fish move freely on the stream.
